The Perfume Pagoda

I recently had a lovely trip here. The weather was great and we had a good time. The best part of the trip was the boat ride. But most of all I enjoyed spending time with Nhi. :-)

I like this portrait. It's easy to catch subjects unawares with my camera.
River life looks peaceful but must be hard.
The karstic limestone scenery is amazing but hard to photograph well!

These men seemed to be fishing with a battery powered dipper. The poor fish get zapped and then scooped into the boat. It's not exactly cricket, is it?

This style of rowing is far more difficult than it looks. I wanted to try too but was afraid I'd sink the boat!

Hoi An

I recently went to Hoi An. I was looking forward to it and though I didn't do all I wanted to - it was still a great time. Good food, nice sights to see. And fresh clean air.
